How can you watch the finale and vote on your favorite finalist?
According to The American Idol website, the "grand finale" takes place at 8 p.m. ET across the United States. Full episodes can be watched on ABC and Hulu (the latter on the following day). The show is also available on the ABC app or website.
The final three contestants are Jamal Roberts, Breanna Nix, and John Foster.
How to vote for Jamal Roberts, Breanna Nix & John Foster: What Are Their Text Numbers?
There is a page on The American Idol website where you can vote for your favorite contestants.
According to ABC, to vote on the website (AmericanIdol.com/vote) or in the American Idol app, you need an ABC account, and you must be at least age 16 and be in the United States, Puerto Rico, or the Virgin Islands.
Regarding the app, ABC says:
- Download on supported iOS devices from the Apple App Store
- Download on supported Android devices from the Google Play store
To vote by text, text the number of your favorite contestant to 21523.
"Vote up to 10 times for each of the Top 3. Save when voting and updating. Voting closes during the last commercial break, but one contestant will be eliminated mid-show based on the vote at that time," the American Idol website says.
